Overnight photography trip last year resulted in a nighttime walk around the zoo. Which was really good, except for the fact that we couldnt take any photos of the animals or anything. So we walked past this view and the cameras got whipped out pretty fast!
I only got one shot before one of my teachers asked to borrow my zoomy zoom lense. I quite like it |

very sharp image, love the nightshot!
(too bad for the noise on the sky but i guess it cant be helped..)
i'd redo the white balance: in the night things tend to appear cooler (bluish) to our eyes, having the image with those tones might give it even more impact.

actually bellchambers wasnt too pleased with me when i came to him with 6 gigs of photos to upload to his laptop (yaaaaaaaay raw)
thanks. i tried a couple of things, higher and lower iso's but it wasnt looking too great. i find my camera really doesnt handle high iso well at all and the grain in the 800 and 1600 in this case was way too over the top.
